Move In Criteria
When a person with mild to moderate dementia can no longer live safely in his or her own home, Cedarhurst Dementia Care Home provides a safe and secure environment which is welcoming and like home. To ensure an environment that is beneficial for all of our residents, the following are our admission criteria:
Mobility
Each resident must be ambulatory, even if a cane or walker is required.
Communication
Each resident must be able to generally communicate his or her needs. Communication can be both verbal and nonverbal.
Medical
We have our own, in house physician.
